Damon O'Steen Director of Drone Virus


Damon O’Steen was born in 1976 in Texas. After graduating High School in 1995, Damon began writing and directing T.V. commercials and in-house promos for Parting Waters Productions.

In 1997 Damon was awarded a National Silver Telly award and the Crystal Communicator Award. The following year was spent working on his first short, FORGOTTEN HOPE. After attending Texas Tech University for three years, Damon moved to Los Angeles to attend the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA.

His senior thesis narrative, WAITING ON THE LOST, a mini epic based on a true story, placed 3d in the Ft. Lauderdale Film Festival and was a Honorable Mention at the Texas Film Festival.

Damon also worked for writer/director Randall Wallace for a year, which had a major influence on his writing. He graduated in 2001 with a B.F.A in Film. As a writer he has completed three screenplays.

He is now actively looking for production partners/investors to make WAITING ON THE LOST a feature film, using his short as a calling card. built mm 2003
