LEANN'S REVIEW OF LAST LIVES

In a parallel world, a psychic prisoner, an enemy of the state, is used in a government experiment to explore the possibilities of traveling to our world.

In our world, the prisoner, Malakai, played by none other than Billy Wirth, whom sees his lost soul-mate(Jennifer Rubin)and decides he must get his once true love back, as they were meant to be together. When he is sucked back into his own world, where he is on death row, he escapes from his cell with two psychotic sidekicks and busts into our world to claim his true love.

Following into our world is the scientist behind the experiment and friend to Malakai, Merkhan(Judge Rheinhold). Malakai violently intrudes on his true love's wedding to another, played by C. Thomas Howell, killing all the guests, the best man, and the groom himself, then escapes in a limo with his love. Merkhan arrives and revives Aaron(Howell) with a bracelet, explaining the situation to him as they chase Malakai and the kidnapped bride.

Along the way we see Wirth in his attempt at love and poetry that will make our hearts ache. In the end of course Howell gets his bride back and Wirth whispering the words "live" to his lost love gets a tragic death with a twisted ending..

I saw it as a fantastic movie, but only wish Wirth had lived and got the woman of course.. The nice thing about this movie I thought, was that our lady that Wirth's character has fallen for was not some pretty drop dead gorgeous bimbo, but a nice plain jane with her own sense of beauty. A beautiful thing for all of us plain Janes in the world..:)
