The Wirthy One

Remember folks, Cyn and I were going to see the movie, meeting BW was the icing on the cake! Cyn, Donna, and Melinda have given great accounts of HIMSELF. I found him be an old soul, soft spoken, polite, and gracious. A very comfortable person to be with. He has such a warm vibe, I can't imagine he's ever met a stranger. And the brother is looking good! Did I mention those deep, gorgeous, soulful, brown eyes! The sinfully long lashes? Hey I was cool! LOL!

MacArthur Park REVIEW

I was pulled into the story immediately. The camera work and pace are crisp, the editing precise. The story flows with strong characterizations that are not stereotypical. This is a population I work with and MP does not glorify the lifestyle but does give a perspective from the inside.

I was really cheering for the main character to get his act together. The scenes with the father and son were on the money as were those of the young honey being charmed by the hustler/pimp/thug. The older female trying to school the young honey of the real reasons for his interest struck a cord.

I am looking forward to a general release. For those in education, social and correction services this would be a strong tool to present to their populations as a warning to beware, it's an easy trap to fall into.
