ONE TO WATCH
AGE: 27 HOME: Grew up in Manhattan, now doing that Hollywood thing.
WHY HE'S ACTING: Basically, because he is the object of beauty that you see before you. But Billy boy, who spent a summer modeling while at Brown University, says it happened like this: "One of my agents was an actress. She gave me a monologue to read one day, and I got this adrenaline rush because I was walking through a fear that I had of speaking in public. It was like a natural high." Billy then took acting class at Brown, graduated with a business degree, moved back to NYC and began going to auditions. His first movie role was in the barely seen Seven Minutes in Heaven, followed by a Diet Pepsi commercial and that memorable nonspeaking role as one of the biker-type vampires in The Lost Boys. Most recently, Billy bared a downright awe-inspiring torso as an Indian opposite his close personal friend Kevin Dillon in War Party.
WHAT HE'S BEEN DOING WITH HIS VALUABLE LEISURE TIME: Billy composes songs and takes voice lessons. He wrote the story for a film called Street Urchins("kind of a combination between Robin Hood and Oliver Twist and The Sting"), which he also plans to star in and produce. "I wanna produce" being the actor's mantra of the 90s, Billy has many competitors roaming around the pool halls of New York and the beaches of Malibu. But let is be said that we in the "One To Watch" department have never seen an aspiring producer quite this breathtaking. Have you?
